2024 Herriott Family International Reunion
Champaign IL, July 19-21, 2024
The national Herriott Heritage Association 2024 reunion was held July 19-21, 2024 in Champaign, IL. This was a wonderful opportunity to meet other Herriott (Herriot, Harriot, Heriot, etc.) cousins from the US and Canada and to learn more about the Herriott genealogy and family history that has been worked out to date. There were presentations by Scott Herriott, our president and by Ray Harriot, who is our family historian, our contact person for the DNA project, and our contact to update births, deaths and marriages on the family tree, and by others, as well.
We used the Best Western Paradise Inn, in Savoy, IL as our lodging headquarters for those traveling in, located on the south side of Champaign, IL. The reunion started on Friday July 19 at 4:30 pm with registration at Wesley United Methodist Church. All our meetings were held at there, near the University of Illinois campus. The church is an easy drive of about 4 miles from the hotel. A list of our activities follows:

Afternoon free time to explore on our own (Suggestions were provided) - 5:30 pm We had a wonderful outdoor dinner together at a the home of Steve and Diana Herriott. It was casual. allowing us to circulate amongst ourselves so we could get to know each other better.

9:30 am We were welcome to join Steve and Diana in worshiping at Wesley UMC. - 11:00 HHA Board meeting at Wesley UMC. All are welcome to attend.
